History
We were producing Gaziantep Pistachio in a small town called Birecik, which is considered the only habitat of Kelaynak birds, which are endangered and still under protection. Later, we established the Aykılıç company in 1977 to operate in the local market and started business life.
In addition to operating in the FMCG sector, it successfully became the dealership of the brands of durable consumer goods, İpragaz, Philips and Arçelik that you love and .
Due to the growth of commercial activities, we opened our first branch in Gaziantep, which is established on the silk road stretching from China to Europe through Anatolia and the Mediterranean, and is considered the most active trade and production center in the southern part of Turkey. You know Gaziantep as the homeland of baklava and Gaziantep Pistachio.
We have worked devotedly in line with the principle of "superior service, superior quality" adopted by our co-founder, our dear uncle Müslüm Aykılıç, whom we recently lost. In our new city, we focused our attention on FMCG and grew with the success of this decision.
We opened our second branch and warehouse area in our new city.
We have become partners of many of them in our region by making trade agreements with international brands.
In order to meet the intense demands of our customers from abroad professionally, we established Halıtlar Food and Health Products company in the first half of 2011 to operate internationally.
Our cooperation with international and local brands has grown in the FMCG group. We have become the Turkey partner of the brands that we are partner of in the region. In this way, we supplied more products in a much shorter time and met the needs of our customers.
As our customer portfolio expanded with the brands we collaborated with, we established our second subsidiary to operate in the international trade market.
After a short while, we moved to the Organized Industrial Zone and expanded our physical work area in order to meet the increasing demand and to provide better and professional service to our customers.
We became one of the top 500 exporters of Turkey as affiliates.
We added our second brand to our product range.
We reached all continents by doubling the number of countries we export to.
When our place in the Organized Industrial Zone was not sufficient, we laid the foundations of our new administrative buildings and warehouses in accordance with our principle of "superior service, superior quality".
In our new center, we reached more than 500 customers with world brands and our own brands with more than 130 expert employees.
Due to the rapid growth of the company, we moved our facility to the 5th Organized Industrial Zone, which is seven times the size of our old headquarters. Our work continues successfully and we foresee that our new administrative building and warehouse will also be insufficient in the near future, and we are producing and implementing projects for the construction of new warehouses.
